Children look at the uncompleted effigy of the villain Ravana, the 10-headed king of Lanka,  who plays a key role in kidnapping Rama’s wife Sita in the Hindu epic Ramayana. Childhood bogeymen are reinforced by superstition among the adults. Dhangadhi, southwest Nepal.
