Childhood

Childhood was a time of abandon. If it was hot, you went to play. If you were hungry, you went to play. Then you forget all your worries - not that kids have a lot to begin with. Krishna Pokhari’s waters were hardly inviting - brackish green from the algae bloom. Yet in the sweltering summer heat, it was good fun for any child.
