Tomes

When the Tibetan exiles fled their homeland, they carried very little. But amongst those things, were wood-covered 700-year-old scriptures (127 volumes in all) said to be original texts of Buddha himself. They are taken out of the store once a year during Chotrul Duchen, and recited by monks and then carried around the camp by believers.
