Tibetans protest in Bouddhanath on 14 March, 2009 to mark the violent crackdown on Tibetans by Chinese authorities a year ago. The protesters had planned to demonstrate in front of the Chinese Embassy, but the omni-present police stopped Tibetans from gathering in strength.  “Bhoud Gyallo”, or victory to Tibet, seems far away.
