Load Shedding

Load Shedding

For those who haven’t heard of this term before, in simple English, it means “power cut”. I remember arriving in Nepal and experiencing the inconveniences of load shedding. I thought how horrible and tyrannical it was. How can people live without 24-hour power supply? Apparently, we can. We only have 8 hours of power a day, 4 hours a session. And one of the sessions is almost always in the ungodly hours. Now we plan our schedules around load shedding, or “load shitting”, in my own English.
